Huddle House in Townsend Wins Big With McIntosh County High School Loyalty
Students and staff at McIntosh County High School proved they have more than school spirit – they have ultimate loyalty to Townsend’s Huddle House.
In an effort to rally the communities it serves, Huddle House hosted a company-wide “Raving Craving Fans” contest to find and reward the nation’s most devoted customers. Thanks to its continued support throughout the football season, McIntosh County High School was recently named one of ten high schools to win the contest, which awards the school’s football team a $1,000 prize.
“As the single largest sponsor in MCA history, the Townsend Huddle House is proud of the partnership we are building with MCA sports. Providing meals and support for our MCA Bucs has been our pleasure,” said Cindy Powell, general manager of Huddle House in Townsend. “Our staff and I, alongside Lisa Maries Stephens and coach Toomer worked tirelessly to win the $1000 prize and we are confident that it will be used to further the MCA football program. We look forward to seeing our locals in the Townsend Huddle House and ‘Huddle Up with the Bucs!’”
Huddle House’s “Raving Craving Fans” contest was a brand-wide initiative that drew together two hometown values – team pride and love for southern food. Participating Huddle House restaurants handed out branded coupons at their local high schools’ football games, and the locations with the most redeemed coupons were awarded the monetary prize.
Based in Atlanta, Huddle House restaurants have earned adoration in their communities for their warm, friendly atmospheres where every conversation, sip of coffee and bite of home-cooked meals are savored. Known for its round-the-clock breakfast, Southern hospitality and big portions at fair prices, Huddle House embeds itself into every community it serves.
